Sirri District Industrial Wastewater Treatment system

he Sirri Island crude oil processing facilities are located within Iranian territorial waters of the Persian Gulf. The facilities consist of crude oil / gas / water separation units, sweetening (Sulphur removal)units, RVP stabilization units, desalting units and associated utilities.
Oil and gas are produced in the Sirri district by Nasr and Ilam offshore production complexes.
There is an existing onshore oil processing facilities in Sirri Island which the related WWTP is considered as part of the project.
There are two existing Nasr and Ilam offshore oil processing platforms which the related WWTP are also considered as part of the project.
The produced water from onshore/ offshore oil processing facilities is routed to the new WWTP for oil removal and the outlet wastewater, with oil in water specification of less than 10 ppm, is released to the sea in the first stage and to the water injection system in the future.
The complete Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning of the new WWTP for the following plants are in the scope of works:

  • Sirri onshore new WWTP

Capacity:35,000 BPD
Inlet oil content:2,000 ppm
Outlet oil content:10 ppm (max. )
Technology:Compact Floatation Unit (CFU)

  • Sirri offshore Nasr production platform new WWTP

Capacity:40,000 BPD
Inlet oil content:200 ppm
Outlet oil content:10 ppm (max. )
Technology:Compact Floatation Unit (CFU)

  • Sirri offshore Ilam production platform new WWTP

Capacity:40,000 BPD
Inlet oil content:2,000 ppm
Outlet oil content:10 ppm (max. )
Technology:Compact Floatation Unit (CFU)
